Does he still have to serve a suspension if he returns?
Report: Johnny Manziel drawing interest from NFL teams after re-hiring his agent
The #ComebackSZN took a major step in the right direction today as it was reported by NFL.com's Ian Rappaport and Mike Garafola that Johnny Manziel has re-hired his former agent, Erik Burkhardt, and is now drawing "real interest" from NFL teams at this week's NFL combine.
Burkhardt cut ties with Manziel just over a year ago when it became apparent that the Browns were going to release him the following month.
After a roller coaster year, Johnny began posting training photos alongside former QB coach George Whitfield, suggesting a real comeback was in the works. He returned to Aggieland on Signing Day and it was obvious that he had begun turning a corner and making a serious run at returning to football. He even spent the day with the future A&M quarterbacks and caught dimes from our very own Billy Liucci.
Most recently, he was spotted coaching up potential Elite 11 quarterback prospects at The Opening regional in Miami.
We'll see what the offseason brings, but for now, things are certainly moving in a positive direction.
