Not as bad as spav bit spav was the worst in all of football. I think he's average.
He sucks.
I'd be interested to know how many on here have ever called a play.
He does the best with the players he has. You know a better quarterback on the team go tell him.
UCLA had a pretty significant advantage given they know Mazzone's offense in and out. Some poor clock management and got a little too pass heavy at times, but I think it was a solid debut. UCLA also had a pretty salty pass D last year. Given a jittery QB and an inexperienced offensive line I'll take it.

I think Mazzone was holding some plays back. He did not want to show Prairie View A&M everything.
I liked the play calling except some of the dumb fade stuff that all teams like to do in the red zone.

Just got back. Still no throwing quick passes... Still running from shotgun on 3rd and 1 (at the goaline nonetheless).
The OT series was perfect, minus the three tries to get in from the 1.
Other than that, he is an improvement and hopefully will continue as the season goes on

Thought he was fine. Bad calls on the passes late in the fourth, but made up for it in OT. Liked the run game. Ford looks good. Knight needs some work to get rid of the 15 yard drop backs.

Saw some good things. What sucked was game management last drive of first half, couldn't decide if we wanted to run clock or not. Fourth quarter clock management atrocious. Running game looked promising.
Only big issue I have is he doesn't seem to want to attack the middle of the field in the red zone. Too many fades to the corners which are a dicey proposition with a so-so thrower. Other than that.......yes, better than Spav. But not by leaps and bounds
I wasn't crazy about how he took like 20 seconds off the clock in two drives.
But that QB sneak on 4th was the anti-Spav. Lots to work on, but I've been more pissed at an OC before.

This does not look like an offense that can beat LSU or Alabama. That is the standard and we hired the wrong guy to meet that standard.

Pleasantly suprised. I assume the majority of the tards on here assume we are predicted to go 15-0 with a natty. I had us going 7-5/8-4 and figure we may beat that by a game or two if we get lucky. I think this will be a fun year
Jesus you guys are idiots. We rebuilt the entire offense this year. Then we played a team that had four years experience knowing exactly what our OC would do. There were some good things and some bad things. Bad things will get worked out, hopefully.
It's early, offenses are behind defenses early in the year. We won.

Try playing either online with all the cheaters or the one's that are smarter than you calling plays and see how easy it really is.

When's the last time we ran for 150+ yards against a top 15 team? Wasn't the best especially in the 4th quarter but he got us in the endzone when it mattered. Something spav couldn't do his entire time here
