Red Stick...... Its the only game I have to compare anything to.

Not impressive, and the white trash in the stands was equally unimpressive.
......and Bo Wallace only has the games he has played in to compare the stadiums.

This has to be one of the worse statements ever.

Ole Miss was up big on us early and we have no defense.

If we had a defense, and the game was close there would be no difference in crowd noise.

I was listening to Monday sports talk in Houston and they said Bo Wallace had an easy play to just move the ball down the field or leave Ole Miss in position to kick the tying field goal. He did neither and lost the game for his team again and any possibility of making the playoffs. He hated Manziel and all the criticism he took in those two losses. Bo is a punk.

If we have a defense only occasionally over a period of years and only occasionally have a wild atmosphere, it would seem fair, to me at least, to say that Kyle Field isn't a terribly intimidating place to play anymore.

Sorry you didn't have a better time.

Tiger Stadium at night for a real big game is a great experience.

The atmosphere definitely loses something if it is a day game.

As far as white trash, I cannot disagree. BR definitely has its share. Just ignore them.

I personally think Kyle Field is one of the best environments in sports. Its just a different type of atmosphere than the rest of the SEC so its hard to quantify which is better. Its more orchestrated and less spontaneous. And like all college venues these days it is being catered more to the wealthy donors than the casual maniacal fan. I think aTm probably has the loudest student section in the country but it is offset by the fat cat crowd. Also, I think the difference between now and in the past is in the 80's and 90's when I went the defense was the team. And of course the crowd yells a lot more on defense than offense. The brand of football played now is more uptempo and the fact is the defense has had issues. 110k is loud no matter what when they have something to yell about.

Now as for LSU the atmosphere at last years atm game was abysmal by LSU standards, it was cold and raining, a day game and not competitive. Tiger stadium is also built different with all the concrete and hold noise a little better. Plus everyone has been partying all day and that tends to help.

Living in Houston I have been to dozens of games at kyle field and it is a great venue. Looking forward to seeing it this year. I would rank it just behind LSU and florida as far as noise. Equal to auburn and Bama.
