I'm not personally attacking the model for the statue, whatever it takes to leave your mark bud, and I think the Corps and Band monuments are appropriate, but the war hymn statue is a stretch. Speaking of which what happened to the 12 empty seats that were supposed to "commemorate the 12th man?"

Truly awful stuff. The people in charge are incomprehensibly stupid if they think any of this reflects well on the school.

This sort of reminds me if the time when Communications had all of the A&M students do the yells and traditions of the other SEC schools and then they put the video out there and it was ridiculed by everyone. We were trying too hard, it was unnecessary, and it just looked stupid. The difference is that these statues were planned for a long time, cost a lot of money, many administrators reviewed these, and unless removed or relocated they are permanent in front of Kyle.

Regarding the video Jason told TexAgs that Aggies are too sensitive and need tougher skin.

Saw them today and thought Gill looked absolutely the worst. We should have hired the guy who did Bryant's statue at Alabama. Gill just... I don't know how to explain it, but it looks cheap. Not the quality it should be.
