We need a giant bronze walkie talkie to honor Billy Pickard's many years of angrily yelling at people.

All the new statues are horrible in my opinion. I am not going to be proud of walking guests by them. So many other things could have been done.

There should have been a long term program to include many groups in selecting anything as important as statues at Kyle Field.

The statues will be a source of ridicule. And I am not sure how traditional, clear thinking Aggies of any age could have accepted them as a tasteful, respectful representation of traditions.

I am in favor of starting a petition to have them removed.

The more I look at that 12th Man statue the more embarrassing it looks.

Rule 1 of statues...never include casual period dress. Why do you think almost all statues show someone in uniform or some sort of suit? In twenty years that statue will look even more stupid than it does now.

The Yell Leader statue needed to be a better pose. Why did we even need a Yell Leader statue?

Gill looks really bad and yes, his head is way too big. Why not just relocate the original?

Gill should at least be able to see the field

The statues are just decorations to fill open space like trees or flower beds but they commemorate certain ideas. The idea that there is a huge problem about a few statues is ludicrous and absurd, ie par for the texags course. If anything all this does is bring the Kyle Field grounds into alignment with the rest of campus.

No, they are not like trees or flower beds. They are affectations that are unnecessary and, as has been stated, just one more indication that we are trying too hard. We have really gotten quite full of ourselves the past few years and, honestly, are on the verge of being just as arrogant as sips.

They're really embarrassing. When BDF friends and colleagues make fun of them there is no way I can defend them. They're just lame.

I, for one, want to be able to defend absolutely everything on campus.
