I'll reserve judgment until I see them in person but i tend to agree with the guy that said it might be trying too hard. We have a history of this in the traditions department.
Looks like the sculptor is a big Dave Chappelle fan. That's him 2nd from the right, right?

I can't believe we have 8 Medal of Honor awardees and we put up a statue of some dude in cargo shorts.
I can't believe they didn't immortalize the faux hawk and popped collar! Two more things that perfectly represent what it is to be a twelvth man.
