I remember reading this thread and tearing up when you first posted it. My first born son was born just a month or so before this post and all I could think about was what I would do in your shoes. So glad to see this update. Here's to both of our kids being great Aggies!

You read a lot if things on Texags and this one, honestly, I avoided because I have a tender heart for children. Have to say I'm so glad I finally read it and got all the updates. God is great and you have been blessed….she is a beautiful gift…….and yeah, I cried a bit.

Time flies.
Adalyn is 9 and jokingly feisty. I'll ask her to do the dishes and she'll yell, "NEVER!!!" in a deep, defiant, William Wallace voice. It's really hard to discipline while you're laughing.

I was about to get in the shower the other day when I heard a knock on the bathroom door.
Me:Yes?
Adalyn: Mom told me to take a shower.
Me: I'm about to get in my shower, baby, take one in your bathroom.
Adalyn: YOU TAKE ONE IN MY BATHROOM!

One of these days I'm going to stop laughing at her and put my foot down. At least my wife is a better parent.
