Amazing story and amazingly beautiful lil warrior you have there! As a father of a beautiful lil 2 year old girl, i couldn't imagine the pain you went through, but this post reminds me how special it is to be a father. I hope to never take that for granted and hope your sweet lil girl continues to grow and live a healthy cancer free life!!

Adalyn is still doing great. She only has to get scanned once every 6 months now, and the odds of it coming back in the other kidney are beyond scarce. This bump is just me keeping my word that I would update it around Christmas every year- I swear I'm not an attention *****. The only lingering side effect from what she went through is that she got used to being held all of the time and will drape herself over your shoulder all day if you let her. Obviously, my wife and I are perfectly content with that.

I know you want to spoil her by giving her everything she wants, but I would recommend taking the cigarettes away ASAP!

I really appreciate the bump. I think about this girl occasionally as my son was diagnosed with cancer right at two years ago as well - although he was 19 at the time so the pictures of him aren't nearly as cute.

(p.s. - he had surgery and has had no recurrence)
