Is that bedliner texture on that throwback helmet? Nice change from the standard shiny or matte, plus it may have some additional shock absorbing benefits.

Princeton as well.

It's not really a legal question. The lines are based on the stitch pattern of a leather helmet design that was popular in the late 1930's. It's not like a graphic artist sat down and came up with the concept to paint helmets that way. It was coaches who came up with the idea to paint helmets that way so they could quickly identify their guys at a glance across the field way back when everyone wore leather helmets that looked dark and similar at a distance.
