Need to make the sleeves solid maroon on the throwback jersey, as (unfortunately) sleeve stripes just don't work any more on today's unis.

Curious to see a version of the helmet with the intersecting cross lines as per the original.

That is actually the 1936-1938 jersey and helmet. All three years had maroon pants with broad white stripe down the back of the legs...

I'm not a fan of changing uniforms just so we can emulate Oregon, or whoever, but I have to say, that throwback does look pretty good. I really like the helmet. I could support that move.

So, if we dress like '39, we'll be national champions?

Trivia about 39 team: Dad was the foootball team waiter, I guess in Duncan. The players liked him and he hitch hiked to Sugar Bowl, found a ticket, and the guys hid him in their room so he would have a place to stay. I never knew why Dad liked New Orleans so much, as he wasnt a drinking type, but now I think I know.
