I saw that on Facebook and I said "no. Set up donation stations outside of Kyle, but pink out Kyle field is the dumbest idea ever" ... My comment was removed! CENSORSHIP! Kyle field does not need to turn into a rainbow every week.

Pink out anything is the biggest freakin scam in the world!! Someone is getting loaded off this crap and its not the cancer wards.

I'm pretty sure the Pink Alliance is a local group and not a scam.

This reminds me of a guy I know that is an "entrepreneur" he was selling shirts for a good cause but the small print said they donate 10% of profits from the shirts to charity and they were trying to sell a million of them...

This is stupid, they tried to do this a few years ago and there was about 2 in each section.

Don't they already have a pink womens basketball game for this?

I realize that the Red, White, and Blue game was amazing (freaking awesome actually). But, that doesn't mean we need to try and duplicate it at every game from here on out. Leave it be.

I'm sick of neon colored shirts and multicolor running pants. Show some ****ing Aggie spirit and wear Maroon and White!!!

i guess since my mother had breast cancer, i see no problem with this at all
that being said, it would be cool to see them also raise awareness about prostate cancer and all types of cancer for that matter.

It's not that we dont support the cause because a lot of people here do. It's about the tradition of wearing MAROON to football games. The more you do different color outs at Kyle Field the more likely people are to wear whatever they want to the game and then there is no similarity at all in the stands.

Maroon out only started in 1998 and is only one game a year.

here's my take...of course breast cancer is a scourge that needs to be wiped out. my buddies gf was diagnosed about 4 months ago. we woke up super early to do a breast cancer walk and when we got to the registration tent, they wouldn't let us walk...we were prepared to pay $200 bucks to walk (this is June, mind you) and we were told we couldn't pay and walk. they wanted us to each raise $2000 before they were interested. we asked, "can't we jut pay $200 and walk?". nope. we were small fish. there were MAYBE 100 people there and they couldn't use our $400 bucks??? they basically told us to go home. very disheartening. makes me question the whole Susan Komen thing. i've read a lot about this organization (mostly negative) but put my fears aside to help my friend. i'm really leery about that organization now. don't get me wrong, i hate cancer and I know breast cancer affects a lot of good people. it's just curious how they turn down good money yet want to get free publicity from every public event where people are clueless on how their money is spent.

If you buy the shirt, leave it at home. I'm torn between wanting this to fail miserably because it is a terrible idea and hoping that it is a success because it is actually a good cause.

The pink out is benefiting the Pink Alliance, it is a local charity run by a local group of breast cancer survivors.

me too. but, it's a good cause (just wrong organization, imo). will still donate to this cause, just not that organization.

Would you guys wear a maroon shirt with a pink ribbon? The anger over this just astounds me.

We should be cheering for companies helping the community instead of lining their own pockets, instead we chastise them because the color of the shirt isn't right.

I know everyone is in anger mode because of the losses, but take a step back and really look at what you are saying.
