He scheduled a test on thursday the 30th from 6-8. When we told him there is a game that night he just laughed. Here are a list of options I have, please offer any advice.

• Take the test quickly and watch second half
• Record game and start from beginning when I get home, roommates would not be happy
• skip test
• fake illness
• actually get sick and go to quack shack for a university excused absence
• drop the class

record game anyway
vertigo is easy to fake
hit up the quack shack
drop the class because the teacher is a "looser"

Or, go to class, grab the test, rip it up in front of the teacher, tell him how much he sucks, and then drop the class. if you are going to drop it, might as well have some fun on the way out

I had a prof give a test starting at 5 pm on ring day. ****er wouldn't change it even though a good quarter of the class was getting their ring, including me.

and coolerguy, dont listen to jrwood or whatever the hell his name is. I went to A&M for an incredible education. It's just football once a week for that few hours is more important than anything else.

Just go to one of those little roadside 24 hr clinics. Tell them you have a sore throat. Get a dr.'s note. Recschedule test.

You forgot the best option: Turn in your prof for smoking dope and have him arrested that morning.

I actually enjoy watching recorded game a little after it has started.

I would go and take test, record and start game when you get home (no radio on drive home).

If roommates are going to be home and watching also, bribe them with booze and beer that you will bring home if they can wait to watch game when you get home (it won't be over, just start a little later).

Aggie Football is an integral part of an education at TAMU.

Professor should be reprimanded by the administration and a new policy should be made.

There are plenty of other times to give exams other than during the most widely participated-in campus event.

When I was at A&M, the Fall FE exam(e.g., the first exam required for those seeking an engineering license)on a game day. We were in Rudder all day taking an exam and could hear the crowd every now and then. Then again, A&Ms business school was only around so those that failed out of engineering had a place to go. The football program was a lot better too...

I am in the same boat except my professor scheduled it for 7!! He probably doesn't even know there is a game. Makes me so mad.

Listen to jrwoodchuck, for he is wise. He is obviously telling you to screw the test and watch the game.

A prof threw me out of an engineering design class for bringing a dog. The problem, Rev was the dog I brought to class. My only argument before leaving was, "This is your class and I will respect your rules, but please know that you are more expendable to the university than this dog." The class freaked out started arguing with her as I left. I scheduled a meeting with her later and taught her about Rev and several of our other traditions. She welcomed Rev the next time I brought her to class. Anyway, not sure how this helps, but you brought back a good memory.

When I was a student I got upset about this kind of thing, too. A common issue was when Bonfire was on Tuesday night, you'd sometimes have a class or test at 8 AM the next day, and we obviously thought that was unjust.

But looking back, I have to take the professor's. Your education comes first.

Regarding faking an illness, "Aggies do not lie, cheat or steal, not tolerate those who do." Your character and integrity is the most important thing you have.

Crap your pants during the first two minutes of class. That way you could uphold your integrity while getting out of class early.

It sucks...this happened to me to.

Ask your roommates nicely if they would care to go watch it somewhere else so you can watch it from the beginning. Even offer to give them a little booze money to do so if you can.

It's called priorities and only you can set them.

I would support my team like any good Aggie would. That's just me.
