You'll see these kids that transfer out go to SFA, Sam, Angelo State etc.

It's a step down in divisions so they don't have to sit out a year.

Mack Brown had 2 famous roster purges after his 1998 and 1999 seasons. Got rid of about 8-10 players each time to clear room for his top notch recruiting classes coming in.

there were quite a few RB's and WR's moved out after the Big 3 and Benson showed up on campus.

When I said Sherman was a creampuff, it was in *relative* terms vs. Sherrill and I made that clear.

I'm quite sure Sherman is a hardass. But Sherrill almost makes you shat your pants when he just looks at you.

Either get on the Sherman bus, or get off. Hanging around being pissed isn't doing the team any good. Earn you playing time, don;t just expect it!

rogin argument doesn't quite work since Reggie and Court played 3 seasons under Fran. Must not have been that cancerous at the time, and didn't leave early. Not to mention we went to the Cotton Bowl during that period as well. (of course we missed two other bowl chances).

I have a funny story about being at the end of a Jackie Sherrill death stare. My freshman year at A&M I become friends with a couple football players, Mike Ashley and Rich Siller. Mike is the one that I really did stuff with.

Anyway one Sunday late afternoon Mike was on the back of my motorcycle without a helmit and we were sitting at a stoplight at 2818 and Texas and Sherrill pulls up. The power window rolls down just far enough to get a full view of Jackie's crooked nose and he says "Mike I want to see you first thing tomorrow morning!". Power windows went up and we seperated. Big Mike became instantly a scared 5 year old. Something like, "I am dead, I am dead, I am DEAD!".

In the end he ran alot of extra laps and he never rode on my motorcycle again. We took his gold corvette if we had to go anywhere. Cracks me up really when I think about it to this day.

I think so, I just pulled a 24 hour ban for calling him an idiot..yet others have called him fat arse,deusch bag etc..with no ban...maybe its just me...first ban all year, not bad considering the 4 wins
