I and my son have been taking this for anxiety related issues, and I think it helps. Moods are less moody and I think I sleep better as well. Same with my son - cuts out the extremes as far as moods go.

Check oUT maps.org for good research has on depression/addiction and psychedelics, like psilocybin and lsd and mdma. Exceptional substances, especially when combined with cognitive behavioural therapy or at minimum a sitter who can help you talk through the expetience.

Most of the research shows zero relapses within 6 months without additional work, and some go for far longer. (I'm typing from memory so some of these numbers might be off, check my work).

Sidenote: the founder of Alcoholics anonymous, bill wilson, wanted to include LSD as part of the process as it helped him:

I'm familiar with Bill's experience with LSD but its inherently risky as it is mood-altering. A psychedelic (like Ibogaine) is intriguing and theres new research coming out constantly now regarding MDMA and psilocybin but for me personally right now I'd think of it as a relapse. I'd have to have some serious talks with my sponsor and other folks i trust about the parameters.

The closest to a clinical option that I've found is seeking an Ibogaine treatment in Mexico, so I'd need a few Gs i don't have right now to seek it.

The last time I did LSD, the first half was hilarious, like the best weed you've ever smoked, had a great time. The second half I spent an entire night with my hands under a faucet of running water, living several lifetimes in my head in a universe of naked, existential social shame and taboo. Completely introverted bad trip, but it was interesting in that I did have to confront my deepest fears of being who I am if I were to ever "escape".

Definitely helps me be more mellow. That's why I take it. Have not noticed anything to do with soreness.

Say I live/work in Texas and wanted to give CBD oil a try to help with my general mood, anxiety, and maybe workout recovery. I assume I'd want a non-THC variant since I could be subject to drug tests at work.

I can't help with that. I've never used CBD. My FIL bought from them. Apparently they are all about educating folks and helping people find what they need. Call or shoot them a message.

CBD definitely helps my wife and I relax and get sleep.

I tested after the first month of using and was clear.

bringing this back to the top. As I ramp up my mileage, I'm also starting on CBD oil to help with recovery, and hopefully sleep.

I definitely don't think its a magic pill that will solve everything, like some would believe, but there's too much out there at this point showing that it is beneficial for many things. Figured I'll go through a bottle and see if it helps. Worst case, I wasted a few bucks and I won't buy any more.

I'm about 2 months in using it every day. I thi I my stance is pretty well known that I think most of this stuff is crap. However, I'm a believer in this stuff now.

I cant say for sure if it has done anything for my shoulder pain. There are so many factors that seem to go into it. Plus my shoulder is really jacked up. But it is manageable and I dont notice much difference when I dont take it.

I haven't taken an ambien since starting and I sleep without issues.

The most surprising thing has been that it seems to reduce my stress level. I didnt even notice until one day I didnt take it. This, by itself, has me keep taking it.

I know the placebo effect is powerful but I really don't think this is what is going on. The reason is because I only notice it's working when I DON'T take it.

both of your questions were answered, but i'll sum it up:

its completely legal in all 50 states. multiple people in the thread have been tested and passed.

What's your dosage? When are you taking it (eg post workout, before bed, etc)? Which brand?

From talking to friends about it, seems like it's the Wild West in terms of what's out there (not counting the legit stuff, say, from Colorado). By that I mean, all these no-name companies are pushing their products but results deliver are quite different from vender to vendor. So sometimes you gotta go shotgun approach and buy from 3-4 different company unless you can get REAL legit first hand recommendations, not fake online testimonials. Or so I've been told.

Which is why I'm asking, since you've had good result. Might save others some trial and error!
