In my power zone rides, the targeted power zone is no longer highlighted

They're going to make a fortune on this from people who don't know about better. I'm on my second pair of road pedals in 18 years right now
Agree. This is BS, false planned obsolescence. My wife and I together have likely put 12k+ miles on our Peloton and still with original pedals.
Talk about a hit to the egoQuote:
Peloton Bike seat post can break unexpectedly during use

I know nobody knows me or gives a crap but I was mid-way through week 2 of power zone training and broke my fifth metatarsal and I'm devastated. I'll get a follow-up xray in a couple of weeks to see how I'm healing. Won't be able to clip out for a while. Hoping doc says I can velcro in/out of the shoe within a couple of weeks to resume the workouts.

You can input your weight in your profile, but it doesn't adjust anything on your output.
Given your love of analytics, I'd expect you do Power Zone training. Best way to track fitness is your FTP / Kg over time. Unfortunately there's just no way to normalize outputs for all users in a given ride

I noticed this as well when I used a Peloton at a hotel.
Did not realize the Bike+ auto calibrates itself.
I think that I will just focus on improving relative to my own Power Zones rather than paying attention to leaderboard outputs from here on.

That's pretty much what I do.
