Don't feel bad....April and May were considered "the vanishing" in our household.

Ride Saturday and this morning. I haven't adjusted my FTP number back down since I was riding regularly. Today.....you could tell.

It was a good burn though......once it was over. Lol.

I've been slacking too, road bike and Peloton. Gotta get motivated!

We recently purchased the Tread also...as good as the bike, if not better.

Olivia Amato's classes are some of my new favorites. Her music selection is not always great, but my slow arse seems to set a PR nearly every ride.

Did a ride with her recently and she was great! Very impressed. Motivating yet genuine. I feel like some of the others try too hard to be different or quirky.

Damn....just saw some of your rides....killing it.

I was getting ready for the MS150. After that was over a weeks rest a weeks vacation, and a weeks worth of catching up at work has thrown me off a bit. I will get back on soon. Time to start getting ready for Bike Around the Bay.

Working on my third power zone challenge now. It has really helped my fitness. Pretty easy to see results if you complete the rides and do the FTP tests to change your zones.

FTP went from 174 in Dec to 238 in May.

I can never tell if she is sitting or standing...she can barely see over the monitor.

She is good, I'm sure her music tastes will appreciate with time.

Holy moly that's some serious improvement! Great job!

I typically ride in the evenings but could be flexible for a weekend ride if we all want to do one together.

We are looking forward to getting the bike and getting started.

Been outside riding the road bike but fixing to get back on mine. Too hot in the afternoon when I get off now and can't ride in the mornings.

This is precisely why I bought mine. That and it was too dark when I get home to ride on the road in the winter.

I've been doing some recovery/low impact rides after runs since I'm in marathon training mode. My treadmill seems like it is on it's last legs and I've been looking seriously at the Tread though. I've been doing a lot of the running classes on the app, mainly for speed work days.

Just pulled the trigger on the Tread. Mine 10 year old used treadmill just got on to its last legs and the wife really liked the Tread too, so we did it. I ran on it and a few other more traditional treadmills and I couldn't get over how well I liked the tread surface.
I've been doing a lot of the classes on my phone but it will be nice to have it on the huge screen.

Peloton bike delivered today and the 10 minute warmup ride done. This is going to be fun, but will be challenging too - I'm looking forward to it.

What is your spinning/ cycling history? I started spinning a couple years back but doing Peloton for me was so much more enjoyable and entertaining. My favorites are the pro cycling classes, Matt Wilpers, Dennis Morton

Complete novice.

We liked the idea of being able to compete against each other and with 4 boys it has just become too difficult to get our workouts in when we have to get babysitting if one of us is away.

Gonna try extremely hard to not turn this bike into an expensive piece of uncomfortable furniture.

Power Zone training is a good place to start. It's easy to see progress and you can work at your own difficulty/pace. Some of the coaches you will like some you won't, but you will find what you like and run with it.

Congrats! I have been working out of town too much lately to have any time to ride. My goal is to get my 100th by the end of the year.

Just got my Tread in yesterday and did a live 60 minute run this morning and got a little shout out from Matt. My first live class ever on bike or tread/app.

It's nice to have a treadmill that speeds up and inclines without lots of noises.

My wife really wants one for Christmas this year and I think I'm sold on the idea as well.

As long as I get a Gen2 is there any major con to buying used off Craigslist? I always mentally prefer buying big ticket items new, but the idea of potentially saving ~$800ish by finding one second hand is hard to turn down

If you are on Facebook join the Peloton Buy Sell Trade (BST) group, there are always some popping up in Texas, some at really good prices. Some people are pretty proud of them though, not sure if they would haggle or not. You won't get a warranty on it even if they purchased an extended one so don't let them factor that in.

Some will say theirs is a gen 3, but there isn't really a gen 3, Peloton changed screen model numbers but that is it.

I wouldn't have a problem buying the bike used.

They go super quick on there. Pretty much go for cost minus taxes/shipping unless pretty old or the person just doesn't know the market and they price cheaper.
