Love the 3.0L without being a Raptor.

You're pretty much in raptor territory there.

If ford were smart they would have brought back the Eddie. Bauer

Hell yeah. Miss my Eddie Bauer maroon '92 Bronco. The tan top with the maroon was sharp.

Never heard of Filson. I wonder if Filson is paying ford to put their logos on the vehicle or if Ford is paying Filson to use their logo.

Haven't really heard of them either. They do not have a store in Texas and are mainly in the northern states

Man, that thing will be $90 grand on a lot, and for what? I hear how many people are living in poverty and then that the average car now costs $50k? They keep making these things more expensive because people are dumb enough to pay for them, as long as they think that they can float the payments. I'm a car guy, but this is getting stupid.

Filson makes great stuff. I was looking into them a few years ago for a briefcase or duffel but went with Saddleback & Tecovas.

Was looking at their briefcases last night after the announcement to see if it could replace a Lands End one I got from the company store. Wish they had more photos showing how everything fits in the compartments.

So now we have:
2027 Super Duty with Carhartt package
2027 Bronco Filson
What about 2027 Mustang? What outdoor brand goes with that?

Never underestimate the amount of Negative Equity people are willing to live with - and roll into the next more expensive model.

I've hunted with a filson tin cloth dove belt my entire adult life and carry a filson briefcase when I'm feeling fancy. Most avid outdoorsmen will recognize the name. They are based out of WA.

Filson has been around since 1897. I still want a 1996 Eddie Bauer Bronco, but a 2027 Filson is a pretty legit outdoor partnership.

I thought the leather seats were heated and cooled? Maybe they are just heated, but automatic vs manual adjust. I have Marine Grade Vinyl, so I only have heated seats.

As far as I know no version (until now) comes with ventilated seats, but heated has been an option.

This is correct. Filson is the only bronco in this gen to get cooled.

Cracks me up the idea of just happening to have a chainsaw with you while driving around on a trail. I keep a crap ton of gear with me when I'm on a trail, never brought a chainsaw though.

I still think the Heritage trim is the perfect trim of the Bronco, but I like that they are constantly trying to offer new things to attract in new customers. I assume this trim is going after the boomers that liked the King Ranch trims which is cool and will probably do well with that crowd.

I do have a small hatchet in the truck of the Miata, maybe I should replace it with a small chainsaw, just in case.

A chainsaw becoming flying debris in the cabin of a Bronco would be scary. Hopefully it exits one of the windows before getting to the head/body.

needs a manual transmission option. I settled for 2.4 liter on my 2022 just so I could get the manual.

Pretty common to have if driving forest service roads in the Rockies during hunting season. Haven't needed one yet, but have used a folding saw plenty of times for trail clearing downed trees on my dirt and mountain bikes.

Electric chainsaws are the way to go for little road clearing jobs like that. No gas mixed with oil to worry about, just turn it on.

I rented a bronco a few weeks while traveling. Looked great. Badlands edition. Worst beatin I've ever had in a vehicle. Can imagine driving one daily.

Can confirm. If I ever start having to commute again the badlands will be gone.
