It's interesting to see massaging seats, Lexus safety 3.0+, newest infotainment software, big digital instrument cluster, etc. offered / included on the GX, but absent on the LX. Now that the vehicles are basically the same size, I'm not sure what the draw is for the LX? Assume they will have midcycle refresh for 2025/2026 MY to update? If not it would be hard to pay ~$20k more for the LX

GX will have a third row in all models except the Overtrail. And you can't get a third row in the base LX trim. Agree the LX will still be overbuilt, but the GX is no slouch in that category (still built in Japan).

I think your top end number is right, but I cannot see even the lowest level trim driving out at any less than $78-79k. IMO while lotsa Lexus dealers claim they don't do "adjustments" they absolutely will especially if the dealers feel like the days of marking up cars big time might be coming to a close down the line.

My prediction on the TX minimum drive out is : $63k, on the GX around $78k.

What are yall seeing for deposits to get on dealer waitlists? Sterling McCall wanted $1,100 and Westside Lexus in HOU wanted $2,500!!! They are clearly trying to keep people of multiple waitlists, but damn!

Saw in the trunk on the new Lexus site promos (they sent an email) that the 3rd row is not fold flat. It's like the new sequoia. Boooooooooo.

Exterior Style still hasn't grown on me a ton. The khaki and black was a strange choice for their main marketing. The black/grey Premium model is a little better. Guess I just don't like all the angles.

I sold my Gen 1 to my niece when she turned 16, prior to Covid value pop and at a family discount, but told her I would buy it back if she took care of it when she was ready to move on to something new.....alas I will not be buying it back.

There's no folding flat in a solid axle 4x4, get over it. Buy a minivan/tahoe for a grocery hauler.
