Interested to see how these turn out. Was looking to get something new by end of July when second kiddo arrives, but these might be worth the wait.

I though I'd never own one, then we had twins and a 3rd on the way. Put 220,000 miles on our 2000 Odyssey and the SUV's would have been such a PITA to drive, load, unload with 4 kids vs the van. Not to mention the gas and insurance costs.
Yup. I once read an article back when jalopnik was a great and funny website. Basic premise was the van isn't the mom car. The suv/cub is the mom car. You're not fooling anyone and are actually settling for the worse vehicle.
I still can't believe they haven't figured out how to add sliding doors to a Tahoe. They must have figured that it would kill sales converting their manly family grocery getter into a lift minivan.
Minivans are some of the ugliest vehicles on the road, because they can be. I'm all about an Odyssey for our next vehicle, but the wife has the minivan stigma as well. Her family never had one growing up and mine did, so that's probably part of it.

Big jump in pricing on the 600s. They start close to where they used to, but now there's another 40 or 50k in options you can add.
Considering the price of SUV's have achieved levels of insanity I never thought possible ($125k and people gladly pay that?) then a minivan would be my immediate look if I was in this market.
But I'm not in this market and will continue to drive my 2 door coupe.

I don't need a new car, but I might want one with what they've shown so far. If the interior is on point and there's some sort of aggressive off-road package, my wallet will be getting lighter.

Additional teaser pic of the new GX. Getting more excited about it. Doesn't look like it has the terrible predator grill that has plagued so many other Lexus models. They are clearly targeting the LR Defender. Will be hard to let go of my current GX and the V8, but if they knock out the interior then I just may make the switch..

I've always been intrigued with the GX but have never pulled the trigger on one. This may make me go after one in year 2 of production.

That action shot of the GX looks phenomenal. You guys who are buying these need to take good care of them, so that I can buy one off of you once they become affordable as used.
The toned down grill might be similar to new RX.
