It is. Cstav86 did an awesome job.

When we got back home from Colorado in '22 and were swapping pictures he sent that engagement picture - and I was like "whoa, I don't remember this"; he said 'ya, I tacked on an extra activity to the trip after we left for Steamboat.' I should say so.

I still love this picture of him leading us down Ophir. I think I said it earlier - it has that Walter Mitty longboarding Iceland vibe to it.

For new purchase are there market adjustments or anyone selling at MSRP?

Don Ringler in temple at msrp with $499 add for window tint, door edge and handle cup guards. I'm waiting on mine as they are on hold at the port.

Neighbor up the street had a modded Taco, and a few months ago the Taco disappeared and this showed up. I wanted to get pics for y'all without being too creepy. It appears to be RHD.

This dealer is near me, and I'm hearing through friends that they are marking up trucks $15-20k once they get here. I guess we will see over the next few weeks as they arrive. Maybe it's only the FE's.

Don Ringler in temple is not marking up. Just a $499 tint and PPF charge which is reasonable.

I saw 4 RHD Prados in downtown Midland today. All in the same parking lot. If they are there tomorrow I'll snap a pic.

I drove my 40 to town on Sunday afternoon to fetch a new alternator for my project truck. I am still amazed at how smooth it runs after the refit of '21 and '22. Some projects provide a sense of fulfillment beyond the investment and some just become permaprojects. I can say that my FJ40 is certainly the first. I was driving to town and I thought it was running a little rough as I approached the red light - and then it died. I knew what it was, idle solenoid lost power, reach under dash, touch the second fuse from the bottom, wiggle it a little… and away we go! lol.

Oh, there is plenty left to work on when the urge hits: needs some body work, a new headliner, and install that new fuse block I bought; but man is it fun to drive in the interim.

I know, cool story - but the heat of summer has me longing for a mountain trip this fall.

I'm sure this is a tough question, but what is a reasonable price for a 2008 LC with 160K miles (private party sale)? Vehicle is clean and appears to be more or less stock from pictures at least.

I've recently been fixated on replacing my wifes POS '17 Pilot (110K miles) with an older LC/LX/GX or Sequoia (need the ability to seat 6 once in a while). While it may seem overkill as there won't be much of any off-roading going on, all I care about is reliability (& also have a good friend who is a Toyota/Lexus mechanic). Don't care about fancy new technology or gas mileage.

I'd buy the newest one you can afford. At a minimum, I'd look for at least a '10 in the 200 series as it will have Bluetooth connectivity for your phone. I don't think the '08 had tinted privacy glass from the factory. I have a '10 with 223k and a '19 with 55k and while they are still very similar, the updates over the years (tech and design) are worth the additional $

+1 to the above.

Also remember that an LX570 of equivalent age/mileage will be cheaper than a Land Cruiser.

Anything 08-17 check the radiator for cracks.

As much as I love a 200, a Sequoia seems like the play for your case.

I hope the below isn't a scam. 1977 Cruiser, 50k miles for 19k.

Yes, and while it is what trucks are supposed to do - the washboarding in the bed floor shows it's done a fair share of work.

Also, I would put little faith in the estimated milage. It could be less than that or likely a multiple of that, but I'd evaluate the truck based on what you see, not how many miles it is held out to have.

Sticker was $77,949 and sold for $78,000. I don't think I'd be inclined to pay a dealer markup on these things.

Spotted today in San Jose, Costa Rica! Lot's of these down here. Is this body type still in production? They are used by the police, emts and a lot of construction type businesses. Restored 40's series are very common. Unrestored, bondo'd over models are commonly used as tow trucks.

Any more info on that '72 Landcruiser in Bryan? I sold my '72 there when I was at A&M. I wonder if it's still around.
