I sure hope it's not a 4 cyl. The gx550 is now the size of my 200 and I can't imagine my 200 with a 4 cyl. I could be convinced of a twin turbo v6 in it though.

Toyota GM told me it's 100% Prado platform, 50s to upper 60s and they're going to unveil it to them at the National meeting in September and give more details. Doesn't sound like anyone is getting Jeep/Bronco competitor
Price wise it's way more comparable than 200 series, Broncos and Wranglers are in the 40's to upper 50's. 200 Series were going for 100K.TitanAGGIE09 said:

Size wise, I believe smaller than 200 series.
No removable top or doors on a Prado, I don't think.
Looks to me like it's going to be virtually identical to the new GX but with a different front grill/light setup and rear lights.
I could see it getting the Hybrid 2.4L 4-Cyl but think Toyota would be much smarter to give that to the new 4Runner to share with Tacoma… and let the LC/GX share the TT V6.
I suspect Toyota is going to hit a grand slam with the new cars their releasing. Particularly the GX, LC, 4R, and Taco

The real question is if the new Landcruiser is a GX and coming in at 50-60k, where does that leave the market for the 4Runner?
This is my question as well. The size being the same, and the price getting close enough to likely steal a healthy amount of high end 4Runner buyers. Will be interesting to see what happens.
Maybe 4Runner because the FJ Cruiser replacement and goes back to its roots to compete against the jeep and bronco?

How do TexAgs' LC experts feel about a 2018 with 93k miles for $59.5k? Appears to be in great shape but what majors items might be needing to be addressed around this mileage?

I think the 2016 got an interior and tech refresh. Not sure how it affects prices.
Plus same year and mileage LX will always be cheaper than LC.
If you're staying in that area keep an eye out for a bunch of old trucks. Solid Axle Summit 7 is this week, based out of the Ouray KOA.
Headed to Ouray tomorrow. Will keep an eye out.
