Installed a set of LFD crossbars this afternoon
Didn't think I'd get to it, but managed to get my skid installed too.

What do you guys think of the Wit's End turbocharger for the 95-97 LC on IH8MUD forum?
Guy is selling his spot for $6k. Boosts HP for 300+ and Torq to 420+ i think. It would be nice to have a bit more get up for these hills around here especially with 35" tires, but I don't really want to spend any more money. It seems like a limited deal though. Do it now, or never have the option again.

I have a 1976 F40J Land Cruiser that needs some work - engine, upholstery, paint, etc. - does anyone have any suggestions on who I could talk to about getting is somewhat restored. I would like to at least get it running. I live in the Katy area.
It has been garage stored, but hasn't ran in years. It's been in the family since early 80's and it's about time to get this thing back on the road.

Wish I had names to offer - but that's not my neck of the woods. I know reddog90 has a solid rec he can share for mechanical, get it running & driving, stuff. I am not certain if that shop does as much body/interior stuff. Are you wanting a turn-key all at once job or do you plan to take it in stages?

I have no idea if this is it. But it matches what I have been told was shown to the top dealers in vegas a few months ago.

The 80 is still there so the jury is out on personal experience. I've read really good things and his pricing is pretty good so giving him a go. Vladamir, the owner, seems to know his sht about 60's and 70's and seems really passionate about Land Cruisers. He sells Ironman, as well. I would definitely give him a call.

This would be a killer truck. Totally gone through by Onur/Beno at OLC.
Visited the 80 at LC of Houston today to drop off the spare wheel. He's down a mechanic but thinks I should be able to pick up next weekend. Some of the bigger things they're doing:
Ironman 0-2" stage 2 lift
295/75/16 Cooper AT3 XLT
Full brake service, new rotors/pads
Full A/C service
Flush all fluids and change all filters
Diagnose and fix likely sunroof leak

Nice man. I have the 4" Ironman FCP lift. I love the shocks and ride but 4" was probably too much. You'll like the 2"
