Right now, I am Just trying to piece the parts together. It's part of a larger project to remove the suspension lift and replace the liners/mud flaps in the front wheel wells because they were chopped to accommodate the 275/65/20 tires.

I'd like to go down to a slightly smaller tire to avoid all the cutting.

What size are your tires?

Those are stock size. 285/60/18.

I have 285/65/18s on my 2013 and like those better, although the 60s are a softer ride because they are C rated.

That's what I have been casually observing lately. Not that big of a difference, but its noticeable.

Its at $41k now with a few hours left.

Id like to find one (either an LC or LX in the mid 30s) and it looks like the 13-15s are the sweet spot for mileage and price. That said, I do like the facelifted 16+.

Any big transmission concerns between the 6sp and newer 8sp?

I hate the 8 speed to be honest for city driving. I have a '19 and I miss my '10. The six speed is the best pairing with the 5.7l. With the 8, It's always hunting for gears at low speed which causes jerkiness and hard shifts no matter what mode you are driving it in. '19 drives great on the highway and looks best so there's that!

I drive a '17 200 and feel the opposite about city vs highway with the 8 speed. Mine shifts pretty smooth and seems to be in the "right" gear in traffic. It seems like it hunts gears on the highway when going uphill or into a headwind.

My wife had a '14 LX570 and I do feel like that 6 speed paired better with the 5.7.

$45k. Seems high for a '13, but it was pretty clean.

Maybe it's how one defines city driving. I live inside the loop in Houston so a lot of stop lights, stop signs and lower speed driving. I'm sure everyone has their own sensitivity to the transmission feel so I'd suggest one test drive as much as they can. What I experience is a common complaint on Mud. That said, it does not appear to be a detriment to the transmission, and I've had my transmission checked by both an independent mechanic and a Toyota dealership and they say all is good.

They say the 6spd is faster than the 8spd. Also, less **** to fail in a 6spd. With that being said Toyota builds one of the best 8spds.
I have a 2011 LX and personally like the looks of the 2008-2015s before the major grill facelift in 2016. A little more truck like IMO.
