Not sure when but eventually! I want to get some clear dip and mix in different pigments and test some combos, a gunmetal metallic would be teh tits or I could get something closer to silver with aluminum powder.

That's just black Plasti Dip out of a spray can and when I sprayed that I didn't understand how it lays down so there's alot of texture to it. Besides the fender the hood is bent so before I dip it I'll get a different hood which I'm sure won't match my paint either and the actual condition of the paint is below.



Here's a demo done by a DYC member using the aluminum powder I mentioned earlier.

Gotcha not too bad though. Paint looks pretty good for a 17 year old truck? Shouldn't look too bad when it's all said and done.

No the paint is really bad, it seriously looks like brushed stainless. Apparently the PO preferred steel wool to a sponge while washing it.

I doubt it's Plasti Dip but this color is allsome

Mehh it's hard to see paint in a picture. It's probably not as bad as my dad's 1990 Miata. The clear coat is completely gone from the doors back. Needs to get it resprayed but doesn't want to put money in a car he never drives.
