+9 this morning. I'm only playing 3 times a week or so now. Huge difference.

I've played 7 times or so in the past 2 weeks with my low score being +5. Out of nowhere I shot a -2 today. Dude.

I've tried that, but I always hear about the outcome before I have a chance to watch it. That takes some of the fun out of it.

Yea I left for the course when Tiger was on 13. It was pretty much over anyway.

I'm getting the big course withdrawals. Can't wait for MCC to open up again. I need to go hit the driver in a week or two.

I'm gonna try to get out to MCC some time this week to drive around and check out the progress. I may even enjoy a couple adult beverages while I do it.

Think I'll go out at lunch today to have a look.

MCC is looking pretty good. The greens are coming in nicely. They do look a bit bumpy but that will fix itself pretty easily in six weeks.
The fairways look really good.
The hard-pan under many of the trees has filled in pretty well.

Excellent. I was hoping it would open ahead of schedule. But whatever. I'll be ready regardless.

I think I got my money's worth on the $100 6 month pass for the par 3 course.

I played at lunch just now and hit my shot on 18 a little short. It skipped out of the lake onto the bank. I chipped in for birdie from about 20 yards.

I'm pretty sure that's my craziest 2 yet.

Do you realize that you have spent, so far, $1.36 per round? That is insane! I have basically opted out this summer. I may have played 15 times since May 1. At least it feels that way.

Yea, and I didn't count the rounds I finished up the back 9 in the dark. There's probably another 7 or 8 of those.

There's nothing like making par in pitch black darkness.

No and I hadn't heard that. I checked the putting green yesterday and it looked way bumpy still. Still a long way to go.

Several people last night said the greens will be a bit pumpy for a while. They are getting rolled regularly but it will take a while to get them smooth.

Neil is going to a club in Georgetown. I was told he "officially" turned in his resignation Tuesday.
