Dyess Park. Very familiar as my daughter played many a club soccer game there. Always hated when there was a SB tourney at the same time which was most of the time.

I know what you mean by the "private airport". It is a grass strip that isn't used really at all. Did you know Dyess has a RC Airplane field there also?

South of Dyess is a what I would call a horse community. 2-4 acre lots w/ very expensive estates and expensive white horse fences you would see in Kentucky. But along Telege and Cypres Rosehill, old boy has his pipe yard. So yeah, I've called on many small shops where old boy has a house and biz on the same property.

If you are ever in the area again, goto the Country Corner Ice House. Enter there annual "big buck" contest...

In Fort Worth this morning an elderly Canadian man in an Altima with a blue handicap hang tag cut across four lanes and nearly took out me and another car.

Thought I was in Houston for a second there.

He had the window down. That POS Altima (redundant) must not have a working air conditioner.

The best thing about Houston is the numerous daily, direct flights to Salt Lake City.
