Correction: cabrito not fajitas
Isn't cabrito roasted or stewed (like pulled pork)? I'm talking about grilled or smoked goat fajitas.
I would have also settled for birria. But noooooo. He had to ruin my fun and give the dang thing away.

And didn't have homeowners insurance
If you do have insurance tough shlt file a claim and get reimbursed that way.
I had some shingles dented and some scrapes on my siding from falling limbs. So In my application I selected "minor damage" since "no damage" was not an option.Captain Winky said:
Is this like the thing that was circulating about how you get reimbursed for your lost food? Turns out you would only be eligible if you actually sustained a certain amount of physical damage to your house so it was basically pointless for most people.

When I filed my food spoilage claim (USAA), it was not subject to the deductible. Didn't have to submit any pictures, and the claim pretty much guided me through with no stress. $500 arrived 2-3 days later. I was shocked at the ease of the claim.htxag09 said:
I thought the food spoilage deal (through insurance) wasn't subject to the deductible?
I hook up the generator so have never had to deal with that claim process. So no first hand experience, but I could have sworn my wife's sister's family did it after the May storm.
I filed my food spoilage claim with USAA for the May storm and they said I would receive $350. They never paid and then denied my homeowners claim.Bonfired said:When I filed my food spoilage claim (USAA), it was not subject to the deductible. This is why I went ahead and filed a FEMA claim anyway.Furlock Bones said:
