Left on vacation Wednesday dismissing the storm because consensus was just South of Brownsville. I was on vacation so didn't pay attention at all and now learn West Houston will take a hit. Good luck everybody .

I heard Chita pronouncing it Burr'l a few days ago, but she was one of the few I heard that said it that way.

I've been saying Bear'l, but either way you say it, this storm sounds like it should be wearing a muumuu and sponge rollers while smoking a filterless Camel and frying some Vienna sausage.

They aren't on a big boat, they are on one of our workboats, and yes it is bad. 16 foot swell now per the captain.
