Yep. Certainly looks like it's gonna pop out in the middle of the northern Yucatan coast instead of the far western edge.

Northern Mexico/Southern Texas landfall odds going way down.

Not that I'm going to run from this storm if it gets closer than originally anticipated, but I'm going to get vehicles gassed up in an hour or so and do a few other chores as a gift to my future self. Being out amongst people who are losing their shat is no fun, and depending on the 4 and 10 updates, shat-losing may be imminent.

This is why texags is awesome.

Multiple posters speculated that Beryl would shift north days before the experts. All based on some key data points and common sense.

So went ahead and got cars gassed up and got our normal weekend grocery shopping done today so we can sit back and relax.

I think a good number of people are going to start panicking tonight/tomorrow so might as well get everything knocked out before then.

Same for me. Bought a bunch of bottled water, batteries, gas (for vehicles and generator), etc. I figure I might as well get all of these things even if I don't wind up needing them for Beryl, since we have another 3 to 4 months to go and we may even be threatened again.

Probably won't have a good feel about where this thing is headed until the 10am advisory tomorrow. Got food and beverages for a week+. Generac may get some playing time. Gas in car in case the SHTF. I'm in Texas City and plan to stay.

I have stayed quite a day or so. I will have to hunker down with my parents and sister n Port Neches.

I live in The Woodlands and headed over there this Friday afternoon. I was hoping they could evacuate east bit their poor health limits riding in a and all that brings.

I wish the models could have handled this better.
