Literally no meteorologists. Only one guy who thought the government would steer it to Houston using geoengineering.

As a chaser this is what you’d want to see as it’s strengthening meaning stronger sustained winds come down to the surface.
As a resident this is the last thing you’d want to see.

This guy in Florida is super hard to follow; he talks in music lyrics and riddles BUT he had in just south of Houston. I can't stand him....because if he would just talk normal he would be great but he likes to track and check the surfer waves..etc.

Second time my neighbors tree dropped a limb on my side of the fence. They are on vacation so might just cut the whole thing down and save us both some time.
Waited until it got calm and took out part of the pool fence. Then was able to cut it down and get it on the ground. Had to let it drop across the pool but it didn't fall in so that was good. Finished right as the rain and wind picked up for the back side of the storm.

Tree went down in the green belt behind our house. Fell into one of those major transmission lines and started arcing and caused a slight fire. Keeps arcing on occasion. Surprised the lines are still energized. Called it in about an hour ago and it's still buzzing and arcing.
Also lost a big oak in our backyard right onto the power lines running through our yards on this block. So we're going to be without power for quite a bit.
It was pretty bad in this part of Spring.

The wind on thr backside is much stronger than I would have expected. Hoping our oak doesn't fall but it has a solid lean now.
I wonder if Matt Lanza will apologize to all those people he belittled for saying it's going to come straight to Houston

Where is it?
South Montgomery County, The Woodlands. Neighbor is not an option, have no contact info.
It's still blowing in north spring/woodlands area. Not letting up at all.
