I had one very similar looking in my back yard and took it out last summer as it had started dying. So glad I did, otherwise it woulda been in my house or my neighbors house on Thursday.

Does it seem power activations have slowed down today?
Back in town and what little venturing out I've done today it seems like there's a massive slow down as they're moving trees and downed lines/poles.
Dont see how they're going to be done by Wednesday.

Longwood always seems to be last on the list to get power back.

Yeah i am probably getting a generac after this. Tired of hearing my neighbors next door and behind me running theirs and my house is basically unlivable..
I've always thought generators were physically loud and annoying…. But I didn't realize how emotionally annoying the sound of a neighbor's whole home generator was until the power was out and we sat in the dark/heat while his house was lit up and livable.

Why didn't you just climb up there and connect it yourself?

Now back off.
Shepherd Park Plaza
Same thng happened to us. I'd rather not have it fo ra week then have it come back on and then go back off again. It's a mindf7ck.CDUB98 said:
CenterPoint sent us an email while we were at the FIL's house, that our power was back on.
Sonuva*****, no it's not. The entire block remains in the dark sans the one woman with a generator who has been mocking us with her lights all weekend.
