Most people over 60 understand this and do fine when power is out. Most younger folks completely close off the house and wonder why it's hot as hell. Haha.

On vacation but got power back on at 12th and Rutland according to my neighbor. This was about an hourish ago.

Xfinity wifi is back on as well as I can connect to all of my devices again.

Unless several of your close neighbors have generators. I can't open my windows because of the noise/fumes from the generators.

No power in the grove 008. Im tearing apart my house looking for my vehicle title for insurance and no luck. It wasnt with my other important papers I keep.. guess i will be going to apply for a lost title so they can total me out.

Did see a lot of out of town bucket trucks etc queuing up west of Ella

Drove past NRG an hour or so ago and there are hundreds of line crew trucks staging there. Saw several entering and exiting.

There was at least 150-200 trucks staging at Katy Mills earlier and more filing in when I drove by at 11:30

We're still out in Lakewood Glen in Cypress (Louetta & Grant area). Lots of neighborhoods around us going back so hopefully not too much longer. Even with windows open and fans it's getting less and less comfortable.

Took a quick trip out, lights are flashing at I-10 and bingle and I-10 and wirt, small progress.

Still no signs of even trucks yet.

Transmission lines still down across bingle and west view

A tiny portable AC and a little 3,000W generator can make a world of difference and they don't take up too much space. Nice to have around. Any chance you can snag that?. I've used this setup to keep a master bedroom in two houses at 72 degrees when it was over 100 outside in a pinch. To hell with the rest of the house, but sleeping chilled is the bee's knee's.

Need to do more with maintenance of tree lines. Wouldn't fix everything, but would allow better response. A lot easier to do 365 days a year than 2 but there isn't much of a budget.

Another point...don't let the media tell you everything is bad and everyone hates everyone else...what I have seen in my neighborhood (bridgeland)...that isn't the case at all
