Swing and a miss, Eric.
That was Matt, not Eric.
Funny side note, but Matt is clearly very pissed he no longer has his blue check on Twitter. He tries to play it off, but he clearly felt he was a "very important person" who deserved the check mark.
My 10 and 7 year old slept right through it. Hell, I'm sure my 10 year old could sleep through a train going by 6" from her head. She is a heavy sleeper. Anyway, I was going to bed as it was rolling in, and as I was turning off the lights downstairs, I hear a bedroom door open. I walk to the bottom of the stairs knowing who it was and my 4 year old is crying and running down the stairs, and then jumps into my arms from like the 4th step from the bottom. I took him into the bed with my wife and I and he clinged to me the whole time. I got almost no sleep last night because of him (I seem to always be the one with the feet in the face), but I wouldn't trade it for the best sleep of my life. Things I thought I'd never miss I am missing with the older 2, so I'm eating it up with the little guy.BDUB95 said:

Seems like it's been an abnormally active severe weather season for central and SE Texas.
I think we flipped from Nina to Nino right? Nino brings wetter weather.

SCW's last post was two days ago so got on Matt Lanza's Twitter feed to get info on developing storms.
Other than one tweet about how hard it is to predict weather, his tweets over last 18 hours have been non-stop anti-gun retweets.
Ridiculous.
Today in Houston is a good example of why you can’t be afraid to bust if you go into weather forecasting. It happens. It’s frustrating. Learn and move on.

Fox News presented Gov. Greg Abbott with a poll that showed Americans overwhelmingly favored background checks and raising the age to buy firearms.

But Abbott shunned gun safety options and instead pointed to the need to increase mental health funding. https://t.co/CBAqkc2cuH

The folks saying “my gun hasn’t killed anyone” are so full of bad faith it’s pathetic. Their guns are more important than your life is how you translate it. https://t.co/I6pSvMSkmg
Texas is the type of place where reporters need to be in the face of officials to get answers. My team and I drove 6 hours in the months after Uvalde to get answers from the head of the Texas DPS. They were surprised to see us. It’s just how it has to be sometimes. https://t.co/JIaeaMnPyl

Uvalde families asked the TX Legislature to raise the age to purchase semiautomatic rifles from 18 to 21. The bill wasn't given a hearing until April 19 and they were kept waiting for 12+ hours to testify. WHEN DO THE GUNS START MAKING US SAFER? Texas keeps weakening its gun laws, including passing permitless carry in 2021; meanwhile, the gun homicide rate in Texas has increased 90% since 2011.
