they would need to sweeten the deal more for me to eat there. Their food is borderline inedible and last time my parents were there they got offered a $20 gift card after a mouse was crawling around under their table. The Wonderer said:
Tony's Mexican on Ella is giving a roll of TP and $5 gift card with every order.

I think that is a fair ask so long as everyone acknowledges that the best food comes from my backyard.randy828 said:

We go to La Hacienda around the corner from Tony's. Margaritas are not as good, IMO, but the food is better. My kids love it, so it is our go-to.WES2006AG said:in that exact part of town, nothing comes to mind. But Teotihuacan isn't that far away.HouAggie2007 said:

This may be the issue. I haven't been in at least 2 years so maybe it is better.digging tunnels said:
I used to absolutely hate hate hate Tony's. Only went cuz the wife and her friends like it and for their margaritas. But about 2 years ago, I heard they got a new chef and improved their ingredients. I actually really like the food now.
What if you dont like the restaurant ownerrandy828 said:
OK, this morning I have a different email for Brickhouse Tavern deal. 10% off all curbside orders for a limited time.
No other info and not sure if that means the other deal is off. Maybe it is to get the people who are only ordering for 1 person and can't make the $30 limit?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I guess that explains why restaurant food tastes so much better.SJEAg said:
Seems they have a lot of excess butter to get rid of...guess it doesn't store well? Think a lb is like a 6 mos supply for me.
No kids? We go through a pound every week or so. Pancakes, waffles, biscuits, toast, oatmeal, "plain" noodles, mac n cheese, grilled cheese.SJEAg said:

I thought it was pangolin feces. That seems to be the recipe in Wuhan wet markets.Diggity said:
It's a key ingredient in bat soup as well.
Dont be hating on my Teo like that....drumboy said:
Tonys isn't bad. Cheese enchiladas and a big ass margarita for the win.
Yes, el Tiempo is better. teos is good but overpriced.
Used to be in my rotation when they had $3 margaritas M-W. Then they decided to price themselves too close to El Tiempo.kansas02gt said:Dont be hating on my Teo like that....drumboy said:
