Yalls' concern for folks making personal decisions after yelling for a year to able to make your own personal decisions is... fascinating.
One can support people making their own personal decisions while also discussing the deleterious effects of those choices. Especially when those effects primarily impact children and those decisions are in no way consistent with the science regarding kids and their vulnerability to covid and the negative developmental impacts of unnecessary masking of children.
in other words, personal liberty is only respected if it aligns with what i agree with
Nope. And that's a pretty asinine stretch.
Think of it this way- you see somebody doing something which is known to be harmful to kids (but not illegal), let's say smoking in a car with the windows up and kids in the car. I care in the least that people smoke but we can all judge that person for doing something which is undeniably harmful to the kids.
All the science shows that kids aren't vulnerable to covid and that masks have detrimental effects on kids, that's not remotely the same as respecting personal liberty. Wear a mask if you want, I don't particularly care but unnecessarily masking a kid is harmful and you're damn right I'll judge you over it.
