Wow so **** everyone else then?

Stop being so emotional. We need to do what's best for society as a whole not just what's best for a small subset of society.

I mean really think about what you're asking. You want to shut down the entire country for an indefinite period all to prolong the lives of group of people, the majority of whom will likely die from natural causes in the next couple of years anyway. What is the benefit in that?

I would gladly take care of my parents if 1) they didn't have the means or 2) needed to stay home for and indefinite period of time. But I would have to work to do that so this troll (not you, the goober in question) couldn't allow everything be shut down.

That's an incredibly stupid way to look at any problem. Again stop being emotional and assess what the best logical solution is.

Given that 70% of deaths are over 70 I'm sure that they have accepted their mortality. If not then they're going to have a rude awakening in the coming years.

Saying "**** immuno-compromised and elderly" is equally as ridiculous as "if it saves one life". They're the different side of the same flawed argument. Kill everyone vs save everyone is a stupid philosophy. There is middle ground that doesn't involve shutting down the damn economy.

Even among the elderly covid still only kills a small minority of those infected. The majority of the old people in this country would survive.
