This morning, listening to the radio on my commute, they said the price tag of this makeshift hospital was going to be $60MM.
That's too much to be believed.
Anyone else seen or heard of that?
It appears that instead of using one of he massive structures that is already on the property they may be building a giant tent.

Yeah hopefully that number is the estimate for costs including consumables and personnel but I'm not holding my breath

I didnt know anyone actually chose to vote for Hidalgo. I always assumed ALL her votes were from straight-ticket votes. I'm liberal to Aggie standards and even I voted for Emmett because I had no clue who the hell Lina Hidalgo was and I love me some Astrodome.
Found some at Walmart in the painting supplies area in hardware. I assume any paint and painting supplies store would have them.Body By Fisher said:
So, where are people buying all these face masks I see them wearing lately? Everywhere I've looked online is sold out.

Not much detail in the article, and I didn't watch the presser, but Abbott plans to issue an executive order next week to address businesses reopening.

I think that even a "we plan to hold firm with the April 30 date and expect businesses to re-open first week of May" would be good newsmm98 said:TXTransplant said:

Good. Although my geuss is while the annoucement will be next week the "restart" probably won't be until early May.
Link suggests it's going to be guidelines on how to reopen. I'm thinking it will be rules on how many people can be in a store/restaurant at the same time and requirements on PPE.gougler08 said:I think that even a "we plan to hold firm with the April 30 date and expect businesses to re-open first week of May" would be good newsmm98 said:TXTransplant said:

And right now the govt thinks their job is to protect us from ourselves.
I'm sure that was the driving factor. But now that we've been in this for a few weeks, no big company wants to open back up only to have an outbreak in their store.Ranger #007 said:
I think a lot of those closures had to do with remaining open costing them more money than just shutting it down. Our daughter works at Hollister and they were one of the ones that closed before anyone else. Her last shift she said they had one person come in the store in 5 hours that she was there.
now go do memorial park or woodlands trailsBoxingAg84 said:
