Yeah, I'd rather drive to LAX than to fly from San Diego to Phoenix, then phoenix to LAX with a 10 hour layover at LAX. It's like a 2 or 3 hour drive.

It looks like the police / hou parks have stopped putting up police tape around playgrounds, benches, and other park amenities. Still no swing sets yet. I wonder if they are trying to quietly return things to normal.

Mine took the hoop off of the public goal after chaining a board over it forever. They padlocked the gate to the goal in the fenced in area.

They took down the Disc golf nets. Disc golf, the most socially distant sport that exists and they took them down. This is pure politics.

Where? I ride near the tc jester park and the disc golf chains are definitely still there and people are always playing.

They must have put those back up. They weren't there end of April/ may. As in they took them out. Maybe it was just a coincidence and they were putting in new ones but I doubt that.

They took the hoop down and left the backboard. The tennis court never closed and they've stopped taping off the playground. Also someone went out when it was dark and ripped down all the Covid-19 fear porn signage and threw it away... They're probably not even remorseful, no telling how many deaths that person is responsible for.

The people that use the basketball court are primarily Hispanic and black. Interesting that they took away basketball but tennis players are unaffected. Almost like the city is trying to keep basketball players out. Pretty racist if you ask me.

My basketball goals still don't have the rims. Somewhere, there's a metric ton of old rims lying around all mixed up I'm sure. No way they'll remember to bring the correct ones back to the right parks. So, they'll probably have to buy new ones. Solving problems!

Local news' insistence on live shots drives me absolutely crazy.
