I don't think anyone is pretending turnover at the top isn't common with regime changes. The quality, number and importance of the DAs that were fired is really difficult to comprehend unless you work within the harris county criminal justice community.
And yes, I talked to a few of the names that were just mentioned. I have a very good idea what they would tell Ogg.
And your statement about "1000 resumes on her desk" to replace what was lost is pretty telling imo. You don't know what you are talking about. This crap doesn't grow on trees. Its acquired over decades of experience. Ogg has made her bed now crime victims will have to lie in it, regardless of whether or not you believe that to be true.
I know it's not true. I have seen this exact same scenario played out dozens of times. These were all good prosecutors, but they are not Irreplaceable, or indispensable. And like I said, the people that replace them very well could be experienced prosecutors, or at least very experienced criminal lawyers.
Crimes will be committed, and the perpetrators will be prosecuted it, just like now. Murders, rapist, robbers, burglars... They will be treated just as harshly as they were under the previous 10 district attorneys. Well, maybe Holmes stands out. That dude was a badass
And yes, you might know what some people will tell her, but there are plenty of good lawyers who will take those jobs.
