Two questions: Would the box engraving be something TexAgs related? Is the $7290 for a Speedy on a steel bracelet or a leather strap?


I would have to get permission from Texags for that so I probably wouldn't be able to do that.

it depends on the watch. I cannot get a discount at all on a single piece white speedy right now. Only corporate buy gets me a discount

So this week I got work with a guy that is normally wearing a nice stainless, black dial submariner. But on Thursday he showed up to an inspection with a stainless and yellow gold gmt like this one. I hadn't talked to him about watches, but when I did, he said those aren't only ones he has.

So yesterday I ended up doing a follow up inspection with him and he remembered our conversation and showed up with his top Rolex, a yellow gold Daytona with a white meteorite dial. Meteorite is just f'ing cool!

The silver face looks chintzy. I'd probably go prism. The first batch deliver in June but there's a second batch that deliver in September.

We listened to it on thec drive out to Big Bend on Friday. Loved it.

I loved this one. If I wasn't buying a new car when I get back to Houston it would be coming home with me.

ETA: I think I'm going to work with FTAC to get one of these, but I'll probably go with the 38mm size. The 41mm feels like a dinner plate. 38mm AT photo for reference.
