Finally got my Neptune MoonSwatch last week in Vegas, along with the Earth Phase and White Snoopy Moon Phase. Took 2 years to find the Neptune, but they seem to be more available now. Next step is to get some new bands for some of the ones I wear more often.

Absolutely love the skyflake. Thought about getting one a few months back, but went with a Toge, instead. Might eventually still get the skyflake one day, especially with that blue alligator strap. That strap is non-OEM, correct? I don't think I've seen one like that before.

That's the oem strap that comes on the skyflake. Blue crocodile leather.
I guess the lighting I always see them in online makes the strap look black. Regardless, looks great.

Serious question... Why all the hate for Tag Heuer watches? I found one I absolutely love, but if they're junk I'll get something else.

They are not junk, they are just in the lowest tier as you get into luxury watches (but still a luxury watch and better than what the vast majority of watch wearers wear), and they received flak for some of their designs over the past decade plus that looked a little "mall watchy".
But I believe they have picked up their game in the past few years and make some great watches. They have great history. Get your Tag.

I have an aquaracer, and while I like it generally, it does have some sharp edges on the clasp that would be cleaned up on a nicer watch.

Chrono 24 can be a good place to look to get a general idea of what price you're looking at for any watch model, but absolutely PM FTAC2011 and let him see what he can find before buying anywhere else.

Never used imgur.give it a shot here. The watches from FTAC and random Breitling from chrono24. Re the poster on the band - blue is standard as I understand. Will most likely get a metal band and/or a tan leather also.

My guess is its still quite difficult and unlikely to walk in and find what you are looking for. FTAC is probably your best bet for something like a DJ.
Most people are probably not buying from Chrono24. Some are, but not most.
Some folks like myself have a long-standing relationship with an AD, some people have great contacts like FTAC, some people buy and sell on here, some people are looking for "higher end" (precious metal) pieces that have higher price tags and are thus easier to obtain due to less demand, etc
I didn't know Ralph Lauren made watches. I assume they really don't and it's outsourced. Never seen one. Is it really considered luxury and on par with something Grand Seiko? I find that hard to believe.
