I just threw up in my mouth a bit
one of the senior execs at our company has a gold watch he always wore and from afar, I'd always assumed it was a rolex....crossed paths getting coffee a while back and said "didn't realize you were a watch guy" and asked to take a closer look. Turns out it was a gold invicta....and my level of respect fell off a cliff immediately.

On that note, my daughter and her cousin were at grandma's house a few weeks ago and were apparently playing a game where they would chase each other with a bottle of baby oil screaming "here comes diddy!"

actually one of the more normal senior execs we have, big SEC sports guy and Vol alum, hunts, fishes, etc. Turns out he's not a watch guy and it was a gift, thankfully. But, the fact that he still wears it religiously made me lose some respectDiggity said:

at least he didn't get sold on HSN. every once in a while, I'll see them do an Invicta special on HSN on the guide. If you happen to see that, it's a very entertaining watch. Watching the hosts talk about these obnoxious and obscene watches in such a glowing manner is wild. And, you'll be blown away by some of the watches Invicta produces....in a bad way. Another FTAC is legit post. If anybody is on the fence about it, he's helpful, knowledgeable and clearly likes the watch game. No premium, so no pics, but he got me set up with a couple watches. Didn't want his efforts to go without a little word-of-mouth support to other Ags.
What did you get?!
He can't afford premium so I'm thinking a couple Tag Heuers.

A skyflake and tudor 1926 with opaline dial. Was going to get a black bay, but impulse-bought a black-dial breitling superocean chronograph (white subdials) as a daily last weekend so when FTAC responded with info on the skyflake and black bay, I switched up the black bay for something a little different. Not exactly a high end watch, but it does have a clock in it. Watch thread OG Mr McGibblets hooked me up with a dealer for a new bronco raptor. Just came in yesterday.
