Since you said "thoughts", yes. I do not use a watchwinder for my watches and just keep them in a safe drawer on their side (crown up) until I wear them, when I set them again.

The dial and bezel are taupe. Which is a warm color (not cool) so while you're free to put whatever looks good to you on your watch, you gotta be careful to match that tone if you want it to be the same color temperature.
