I dont think they are that similar at all. Each will differ in style, wear, and functionality. You have to realize Rolex makes tool watches that are built like tanks and not dress watches (except the Cellini). Buy a Cartier or something similar if you are looking for a true dress watch.

You answered your own question.

I only like the Daytona, the Milgauss (I own this one), and this one here which I somehow don't recognize. Discontinued model? These three look quite different from one another.

I don't really like any other Rolex because they all look similar and I frankly don't like the way they look. Actually think some of the other models that folks worship on here are ugly as hell, but I stay away from that so I don't get banned from the thread.

The Milgauss is definitely a close cousin to the Oyster & DJ. It has some different characteristics (second hand & crystal namely), but lots of similarities.

It doesn't need to be set to gmt, you can use it as a second hour hand. I set mine to my second hour hand to my home time zone when I am traveling overseas so I can look quickly at what time it is at home. It is very helpful when trying to communicate with my family when my time zone is constantly switching.

I'm assuming you mean using the bezel for the third? I hate my bezel being misaligned. Using it as I mentioned is the way I prefer, but I reckon you're correct in that it could be used that way.

This is the way I do it, mainly because I'm not interested in committing the GMT +/- to memory.

That's the way it's suggested but I don't move the bezel, I just add or subtract. Also GMT/UTC is inherently somewhat useful when flying

Managed to grab a Uranus too. They only had the one Pluto and could only buy one at a time. My colleague offered to buy another one for me and I could reimburse him. Was between the red, yellow, or blue and I went blue for the "Tiffany Blue" appearance for the woman I'm seeing right now.
