1969. I'm told English day wheels are available and not terribly expensive to have installed. I'm gonna use the Dutch as a conversation piece for now.

I love vintage Omegas as well! In addition to my speedy, I bought my girlfriend a 1950s Omega antique dress watch (non Seamaster). Similar to your unique dial, the case back was engraved from it's original owner to her husband and the girlfriend's first inclination was to replace the case back, but after some encouragement from me and our sales guy she kept it and now loves the uniqueness and "provenance" of the engraving. Not saying you shouldn't change the wheel if you want English, but don't feel like you have to do it!

Also like Veblenist and delugs, but beware that delugs is based in Singapore so it's a PITA to return anything.

Tudor dropped a new Ranger model today, for the 70th anniversary of the British North Greenland Expedition. Pretty neat. Gives a 39mm option now since the Explorer went back to 36mm.

Yeah, you guys are right. I found the website and the Auto posted above uses the Miyota 8205. Most (or all) of their watches are Japanese auto or quartz.

Still nice looking watches though.
