I'm not going to read back too far, I spent a while back over several days reading through this entire thread. I'm not a watch snob or expert by an stretch, but I like a quality watch. I've had nice watches, but was recently looking for something more universal. I'd never heard of it before this thread, but I loved the classic look of the Seiko SKX's. Several months back I ended up getting myself the 009, with the Pepsi bezel, and put it on a black and gray nato strap. Love the look, and gotta say, I get more complements on this watch than any other I've ever had. Solid rec on the watch from this thread.

Do not like the "Pepsi" one but like the 007.

007 was my first automatic watch and will always hold a special place in my heart. I've beat that thing to a pulp and love it. I particularly love swapping out nato straps on it.

Agreed. My 007 got me into this, and now it has become an expensive hobby that I love.
