Well, I did a thing and ordered the CW Aquitaine Bronze. Its my first mechanical, so I am really pumped. Now I just have to make it to the end of May to receive it.
All you yahoos put me down a deep dark path of watch hunting and found I am drawn to the ice blue chronographs. Since I will never own a platinum Daytona, I have landed on a couple others that I thought were pretty awesome. Obviously a big difference in size in the 2 I listed below but curious to hear from more knowledgeable than myself :
Navitimer B01 Chrono 43 - I like the contrasting sub dials but the price and size are the downers.
Omega Speedy Co-axial 38- I like that its automatic and closer to my price range and has most of the Moonwatch characteristics, but little things like the oval sub dials are minor annoyances.

Please don't tell me how much that bonded col Taylor is worth. I drank and gifted a couple bottles about 10 years ago back when you could get it. Sure was good!

As with most things, it depends. Ehtbp will go more for straight rye, for example. Different barrel proof batches will be more. I have ehtbp batch 2 and it goes for over 2 grand. I had a random older bottle of rye and sold it for 150. Same goes for all other versions of eht.

EHTBP Batch 9 is ~625 to 650
Straight Rye is 200
So I was at the Galleria yesterday and popped into Omega and Breitling. Tried both the ice blue watches on. The Speedy didn't strike me and seemed more feminine than I expected. The Navitimer was much flashier than I expected; both were very nice but ultimately didn't hit me in the feels they way some of you describe.
I did look over and see the B09 Premier at Breitling which I thought was awesome. Manual winding:
Went home and looked online and saw this special edition of the same (1 of 250) and thought of us Ags.
Chrono24 has tons of the pistachio but only 1 of the special edition. Both seem like a nice option for any occasion.

Like the maroonish one much better.
Other one is basically like wearing an avocado on your wrist. You better really, really, really love that one because it isn't one that holds up over time to me....with that color.

Just got my first text from a Rolex AD. I went in there in February just for the heck of it to get my name on a "list" that I didn't know would actually exist.
They said they have a Bluesy. That is one that has always fascinated me, even before I really became watch addicted. One of the most gorgeous watches in my opinion. But I don't know if precious metal is right for the beating I'd want to put on a sport watch, and might just be too flashy for me.
I'm going to go try it on, but I am super torn. Shocked I got that text though.

I finally plowed through this entire thread. Unfortunately there are a ton of photos that have been lost to the deep web. With all the Rolex discussion, I don't recall seeing any reference to the new GMT:
