After picking up the sub, I've decided to let go of my DateJust that I originally bought from FTAC. I thought I'd give the thread first pass on it to keep it in the family that got me interested in the first place. I love the watch, but just stopped wearing it much after I picked up a BB58. I figure that's going to get even worse now with the sub.

No box or papers. Bracelet has limited stretch from what I've seen. I've seen a friend's where the bracelet folds over 90 deg. Fits my 7in wrist with I think two more micro adjustments available.

Yep. I'm an idiot though- they sell in MoMa shops in NY and I was two blocks from one all last week. I keep telling myself they didn't have any inventory though.

Similar to anOrdain they are a Scottish microbrand where the focus is more on looks than some fancy in-house movement.

Which I am totally cool with. Having a basic Swiss or Japanese automatic movement allows them to keep the price under $1k.

I just got my Monaco back from being serviced. I shipped it in in November and got it back this week. I don't know if there were supply chain issues getting parts or what. I have been wearing it the last few days and I had forgotten how heavy it was as I had just been wearing a Timex in the meantime. It is nice to have it back though.

He and Marco split, Anthony took the TPG name to LA where he was looking for investors for some sort of ridiculous penthouse, then it got really weird.

Something popped up about a violation of his parole because of a drug test but THEN someone found an old ad on a male erotic masseuse site with Anthony's pics on it but he was using a different name.

I enjoyed their initial videos but it always seemed like they were trying to become motivational speakers and just blowing through tons of money.

AF might be the perfect example of the Dallas $30,000 millionaire. All image and zero substance. Hopefully, this stunt removes him from the watch industry for good although he is the type of guy that will be back with another get rich quick scheme in the future.

Just watched this. Missed it when it was announced. If you are at all nerdy about interesting movements or unique watch designs, i think you'll get a kick out of this one. Sadly, at 250,000 it's well out of my price range!
