On another note, anyone have any recommendations in Dallas for watch appraisals? I want to switch up my insurance coverage and need someone who is up on market trends for vintage and limited pieces beyond the Rolex world.

Actually got a new one delivered today but I haven't opened it yet. Pulled the trigger on a Tissot Powermatic 80 in green. I have been wanting a green face and thought of this as a $650 investment to prevent me from buying the new mint green Breitling

I saved money buying a Seagull 1963 this week after deciding to pass on a Milgauss. Fun watch so far...
I got one a couple Christmases ago for my dad. He really likes it. It's sharp.

If you think you'll get the GMT then I'd vote to hold out for that. I feel like you can always get the Breitling in the future, but the GMT won't be close to retail.
I'm seeing them pop up online with a bit more frequency so I'm wondering if they did another run of them.

Need to get my watch serviced and battery replaced. Movado only has a few authorized service locations and I don't see any in Houston. Since I don't want to mail it in, does anyone have a preferred place they trust for a full servicing? Curious what that would cost as well.
