To be fair, no one uses the watch complications for much if anything at all; and most of them are downright useless. Maybe GMT is the only useful one to some, but that's about it.

In before the Tudor home boys tell me how they time the perfect steak sear multiple times per week using their black bay.

When I'm months In to a work trip and every day is the exact same I wear my skx 007 just so I know what day it is. Maybe I I need to start looking at day/dates.

I'll give you the date, that's somewhat regularly useful although it's so prevalent i didn't consider it a true complication. I too thought that a day/date or annual calendar would be nice for the few days per year i forget what day it is. But then I realized that the odds of me wearing a watch like that on **** off days is minimal to none. And I hate watch winders as I like to adjust and set the watches regularly.

I guess you can use it to time a perfect poached egg in the meantime.

Well, it's doable. But it must be the most expensive serial production stainless steel watch out there these days.

I had a white one on my wrist (not mine) this Friday at lunch. Completely beat up and never polished. It was glorious. No idea how to post pictures sadly.

Buddy walked into a store in Europe in 2015, had a mutual friend with the AD, and walked away with a white one at MARP minus 20% vat. I called the same AD 2 years later looking for something else and he still remembered. Said it was the last Nautilus he ever sold to someone who had zero prior history and laughed that he can't believe how lucky my buddy got.

I work a lot in classed areas where you can't have a cell phone so I use my Monaco to time things when others can't. I also dive a lot and have had my dive computer unexpectedly run out of battery underwater so I always dive with my dive watch as a back up and use the bezel.

Got it for Retail. Turns out I had a uber Rolex connection that I didn't realize.

Can't go back to that well again anytime soon, but this was pretty much my grail, so I'm done for a long while.
